The good part is that this bag definitely has room for all that. The bad part (and maybe I just have spatial issues) is that it's a bit bigger than I thought it would be from the photos--hence, it takes up more room in my purse than I'd like (and I have a decent size bag). It is about 11" wide x 3-4" deep (depending how full you pack it) x 7" tall. I think I'd like it more if it was just a bit smaller all around. This clutch can easily fit 2-3 diapers plus a small pack of 80-100 wipes (or that hard plastic wipe container) plus your other random items. That said, the random items will be floating around, as there are no internal pockets--just one middle divider. I think it would benefit greatly from even just two smaller pockets... The item seems well made and is a larger size which is nice for those using cloth diapers or inserts. There is plenty of room for diapers, wipes, and other small items. The product label and website information for Bumkins was unclear as to whether this product is washable, so I called the company. Even at 7pm CT, an actual person (who spoke English) answered the phone and immediately responded to my question. The clutch itself is handwashable or you can wipe it out, but the change pad is machine washable on gentle cold and both can be hung to dry. I would certainly recommend both the Bumkins company in general and this product specifically. The only detail that prevented me from giving 5 stars is the fact that the clutch handle (which can be snapped to itself or to the other end of the bag) does not rotate on the sewn end. This creates a somewhat awkward twisted strap, but this does not appear to affect the function of this... I currently use Flips when out and about so I just needed something small to toss a few in to keep in the car. It can hold 4 Stay-Dry Flip inserts, a small wet bag and a few wipes. I especially love the magnetic closure. Makes it easy to open one handed. |
