We fold them long ways, not quite in half so that they cover the most area possible. They not only protect the diapers when we are using butt paste or other diaper cremes for a rash, they also make it so much easier to deal with poopy diapers! We just drop the liner, and all the poop, into the toilet and flush it away. These are very soft however, if your child is active, they move all over the place resulting in poop all over the inner diaper. I also have a child who is prone to diaper rash due to antibiotics from ear infections and they don't protect my diapers from the paste. I have used Imse Vimse and Kushies, both of which are scratchy but at least they stay in place. I would wager that those two are no scratchier than a disposable diaper though. They are a bit more expensive but I bought these to cut down on the work so I am willing to pay more for the liner to work well.And before others bash my critique, I have tried all but taping them around his bum. I have pulled them up(they are very stretchy) so they stick out the elastic at the back and come all the way up front. They are a bit wide too so they stick out of the diaper at the legs. They're easy to use in the tissue dispenser style box. They're also way softer than other liners on the market for babes with sensitive bums. They're also the perfect size and require very little scrunching to fit well. At home I usually just dunk and swirl, but these are great for when we go out or I leave my little one with his grandparents or aunt. The only con - unlike other disposable liners, you can't wash a wet one and re-use. They just fall apart in the washer. |

 These cloths are not like cotton..., By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Bumkins Organic Washcloth 6- Pack, Rose (Baby Product) I ordered these wash cloths specifically to use to dry my face. I expected them to be soft and absorbant. They are not even remotely absorbant. Either they were soaked in some solution during manufacture that rendered them non-absorbant, or they are made of microfiber rather than cotton. I would never knowingly purchase microfiber. Another reason they do not seem like cotton is that they easily stain and do not come clean when washed in hot water and Charlie's Soap. I would like an explanation from the Bumkins people, but do not know how to contact them.
